Canandaigua: Passed away suddenly, on August 13, 2016. He is survived by his life time partner of 35 years, Joan Carver; daughter, Wendy (Alex) Coppola; eldest son, Robert III; sister, Roseanna; brother, Lloyd (Joan); grandchildren, Virgil (Morgan), Bethany and Melissa; two "fur babies", Cookie and Kermit; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Lois; parents, Robert Sr. and Frances; brother, Geoff; and son, Gregory. Robert attended Red Jacket Central and Canandaigua schools. He worked at American Can Company for 25 years and 14 years at Garlock Technologies.

Friends may call on Wednesday, from 4-7pm, at Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, Inc., 47 North Main Street, Canandaigua. His graveside service will be held on Thursday, at 10 am, at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Canandaigua Emergency Squad, 233 N. Pearl St., Canandaigua, NY 14424. Condolences may be offered at www.johnsonkennedy.com.
