To My Dad

This is the hardest thing I have ever written, I am Russell's Daughter in law, the first time I met Howards parents Dad yelled here comes shorty, Dad was stubborn and he was always right, but I could not have picked a better mother in law or father in law, although he was stubborn he was also very caring and very gentle. I will miss you terribly, but I know someday we will all be together again and I know that you are with Mom and so many other wonderful people. This is not Goodbye, but see you again. Thank you so much for having Howard he really is my prince charming. Your Daughter in Law Christine M. Vance

I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that your memories of the good times will help ease the pain.
The way we get to live forever is through memories stored in the hearts and souls of those whose lives we touch. That's our soul print. It's our comfort, our emotional nourishment at the end of the day and the end of a life. How wonderful that they are called up at will and savored randomly. It seems to me we should spend our lives in a conscious state of creating these meaningful moments that live on. Memories matter.
