Stephen Willard Obituary
Monroe, WA: Stephen R. Willard, 66, lost his battle with cancer & went to be with our Lord, on February 20th, 2009, surrounded by his family.
A devoted family man, he moved to Monroe, WA after retiring from Eastman Kodak in Rochester, NY, in 1997, to be closer to his children & grandchildren where he became a full-time grandpa. Stephen will be missed by all who had the blessing of knowing him. He appreciated a good hug, a good crime show, a good book and is quoted as saying "I never met a cookie I didn't like". He will be remembered for his big smile and quiet demeanor. He was a strong, silent pillar of everything good for all who knew him.
He leaves behind his wife of 45 years, Roberta, a sister Jacquelyn (Ron), son David (Gina), daughter Teresa, grandchildren Grayce, Alexis, Holly, Erica, Benjamin, Kristin and Reese; nephew Stanley (Michelle), niece Virginia (Joseph), and many friends. Stephen was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth, mother Helen, Brother Dale and an infant daughter Angela.
Services will be February 28th, 2009, at Monroe Community Chapel, 23515 Old Owen Road, Monroe, WA 98272.

Please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of your husband, father, and grandfather.
I knew Steve from Kodak in Rochester. He always had a smile an easy manner about him. It is sad to know he is gone.

Condolences to Bobbie and family. You will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
I recall passing Steve in hallways or cafeterias of Kodak Office. He'd nod his head and say a warm, "Hello". He was a very nice man, now gone to a better place.
