Thomas Cunningham Obituary
Palmyra: Peacefully passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by his wife, Delores (Anne) Cunningham and his son, Thomas James Cunningham V. He is survived by his daughter, Penny L. Ciaburri of Victor, NY and Naples, Florida and son-in-law Dr. Bruce Hankin. TJ was very much beloved by family and friends. He was an outgoing and warm individual who successfully established his real estate and appraisal company, Pal-Mac Realty. TJ is also survived by his daughter-in law, Linda "Baker" Cunningham; seven grandchildren, Matthew and Michiel Ciaburri, Jonathan and Eric Hankin, Thomas James Cunningham VI, Rebecca Ikewood, and Melissa Cunningham; nine great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
All are invited to gather for a time of visitation on Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 4-7PM at the Murphy Funeral and Cremation Chapel, 123 East Jackson Street, Palmyra, NY 14522. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, July 8, 2016 at 10AM, in St. Katharine Drexel Parish, at St. Anne Church, 136 Church Street, Palmyra, NY 14522 with interment to follow at St. Anne Cemetery. Memorials in honor of TJ may be directed to the Palmyra American Legion, James R. Hickey Post 120, 132 Cuyler Street, Palmyra, NY 14522. Jim was one of the nicest people that anyone could meet. I was very fortunate to have met him and he was a true friend. He will be missed by all. He was a die hard "Dodgers" fan and would stay up half the night to listen to their games from California. The loss of his wife and son was a heavy blow to him. He continued on, but you could see the hurt in him. May he rest in peace and be reunited with his family.
My sincere condolences to his family.
