Hi Professor Didier, I`ll miss your sense of humor. Hope you have fun with God. We will meet soon.

I waited a lifetime, and you walked in; completely and gently, with the true heart of a Paladin, honored me with your oath to hold me in your arms and love me forever. We both knew we would not have much time, but that didn't matter as it was a season of Joy. You were well worth the wait; knowing you are there, I will wait a thousand lifetimes more just to walk beside you again.
Happy Trails my Captain, my Love; 'til we meet again

August 3, 2019

Heartfelt sorrow engulfs my wife and me at the sad news of Marcel's passing. He was an exceptional person, endowed with a curiosity and passion for reciprocal and long philosophically based conversations. His wide ranging interest covered current events and in particular the complex comparisons of the U.S. with Europe.
His parties in Galena, Ill. were among the most attractive ones we attended. They were patronized by a fascinating and most accomplished people one could meet.
We also enjoyed meeting him at Vail's "Oktoberfest," and at other venues where a self-entertaining conversation always seem to start immediately.
His many messages and column writings were always civil but relentlessly honest, if not hard hitting and uncompromising. We actually met through our columns being published in the Dubuque paper and it all started the philosophically based back and forth exchanges for years.
RIP our good friend and heartfelt sympathies to his family and relatives.
Dr. and Mrs. S. H. Sutterlin, Ottumwa, Ia.
