Virginia Singleton Obituary

Virginia Lorene Linenschmidt Singleton was born in Denton County, TX on April 17, 1928 to Albert Henry and Mary Edna Ganzer Linenschmidt, and passed away on March 27, 2024. She is preceded in death by her parents Albert and Edna, her nephew Robb Linenschmidt, her husband Jim Singleton, and her brother Bobby Linenschmidt. She is survived by her sister-in-law Mary Linenschmidt; her nephew Mark Linenschmidt and his wife Susan, and her great nieces Jordan, Taylor, and Lauren and great nephew Luke; her uncle Calvin Ganzer; her godson David Hooper and his wife Linda, and a multitude of cousins and close friends. Virginia was a long-time member of Wilshire Baptist Church and a life member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the charity of choice. A visitation will take place on Sat. 4/06/24 from 10 - 11 am, and a Funeral Service at 11 am at Sparkman Funeral Home, 1029 S. Greenville Ave. Richardson, TX, followed by burial at Blue Mound Cemetery in Denton, TX at 1:30 pm. Full obituary at: www.sparkmanrichardson.com
