A life remembered...always.
Darren...
I remember his freckles.
I remember he loved his Grandma Donut.
I remember Darren early as a "wild child."
I remember Darren, the clown, growling at people from the car window in a supermarket parking lot to the laughter of we his family and the amazement mixed with terror of strangers passing by. It still makes me laugh. He will always be a part of this family. He had the Darren spot nobody else can fill. I'm so sad his private issues and struggles never found resolve. He's gone way too soon. All of us, those who knew him, even a little, will miss him.
Thinking of you all with love.
Praying for you.
With affection and sorrow.

We are never prepared for the loss of a loved one, but God is always prepared to help us through that loss. May His presence begin the healing in your heart and soul, and may His love surround you with the comfort only He can give.
John 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

Dear Darren, We miss you terribly, losing you is huge, and life will never be the same. Many have sent expressions of love, comfort and sypathy, we are deeply grateful. Below is a poem that Deb Vaske gave to Valerie, and it comforts us while missing you. Looking forward to seeing you again Darren!
Your loving friends and family
We little knew that morning
God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
You left us with peaceful memories,
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you,
You’re always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.

An Angel Walks Beside Us. Angels live forever, far beyond our days on earth, and every soul receives an angel guardian at birth. Invisible, these angels never leave us, day or night. They know our fears and whisper, “things are going to be all right.” They give us strength and purpose, keep our hope and courage strong, they fill our minds with wisdom and our spirits with a song. And when the time in this world comes to reach our journey’s end, our angel walks beside us like a kind, familiar friend. And as we leave behind the only place we’ve known, we see our angel’s smile at last and hear “You’re home…you’re home.” May you find comfort in knowing that your loved one has been guided gently home. We are truly sorry for your loss, but rejoice in your brothers Peace in the next world.
We all had hair then...

I met Darren at our Adams family reunion. He was kind, funny, and genuine. He had a way of making you feel comfortable and welcomed. He now has peace with the LORD and is resting for just a short while until we all come together with our heavenly Father and Christ Jesus our savior and comforter. He is in good hands.

My sympathy's to the family. Darren was so kind to us the time we spent together. We haven't seen the family in a while, but he will be missed just the same. Please let us know if we can do anything to help with the saddness of your loss. May God comfort and keep you all.

We knew Darren all of his life growing up in Morrison, Colorado in the 60's. Losing Darren is like losing a Son, Brother, and Friend all at once. He was a very kind and thoughtful person. There are many, many memories of our families times together and he will be missed by all of us.

My mom called me to say she saw Darren's name in the obituaries. Gary and I have heavy heart's about this news. We haven't talked to Darren in a long time, but Gary enjoyed having him work at Frito Lay. We send your whole family a hug. We love you guys!

I knew Darrren only through his mother. Norine spoke of him often with love, concern, and trusting him to find his peace. I am sure this special mother bore a special son.

I remember Darren as being a very kind hearted person. In one situation that I remember Brandon and I were outside playing catch with a football and Darren was watching from the porch. For no other reason, except to be nice, he went into the garage and brought out a football and gave it to Brandon. I am sure he did it because he knew he had something that would give us joy. We very much appreciated the gesture.
I also recall a brief encounter when I was in the back yard at night looking for something with a flashlight. Darren yelled over the fence just to be sure it was me, and not somebody that should not have been in our backyard. It was a small incident but did show his concern for others.
