MYRON SNELL Obituary

SNELL, MYRON J. Myron J. Snell, 91, died Monday, June 27, 2011 in Broomfield. Born October 13, 1919, Boone, Iowa to Palmer Hudson Snell and Esther Mueller Snell. Served honorably in the Army Air Corp from 1942-1945. Preceded in death by wife Barbara Faye Witting, brothers Palmer H. Snell, Jr.; Ronald M. Snell and a great grandson. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Survived by his wife, Elizabeth Jolly Heidbrak, daughters, Pamela Douglas (Richard), Pleasant View, UT; Karen Eberhard (Val Gene), St George, UT; son, Ronald Snell, Peyton, CO; three step-daughters, Jollie Carlson (Leonard), Spokane, WA; Christy Alcroft (Roger), Portland, OR; and Bonnie Heidbrak, Lafayette, CO; ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Memorial service 1 PM, July 9, 2011, The Stratford at FlatIrons, Broomfield, CO. Contributions may be made to The Dumb Friends League of Denver or a charity of your choice.

Grandpa, although you have left our physical presence to reunite with family and friends, your spirit will live on in every life you graciously touched. From your horses, old cars and rocks, to your visit at the cabin with the picture of wild flowers behind both ears, to the way you always said,"Ya know...," the memories of you will always remain very near and dear to our hearts. Dalton and I will miss you. Send our love to Grandma and the others. Peace be with you now and forever.
