Ramona, Ariella, Milena

Ramona Maria Odierna, mother of Ariella, now 40, and Milena, now 36. They both were his patients and LOVED him beyond words. We lived in Denver 1988-93 before moving to Portland, Oregon, during which time they saw him plenty of times. He was a giant among men and beloved by all of his patients and their grateful parents. There is not a shred of doubt that he is resting in eternal peace while entertaining and healing countless other souls, formerly of planet Earth. Fondly, and with love, he will never be forgotten.

I just heard of Dr Resi's passing. He took care of our three children until they were 21. He was the most wonderful pediatric dentist ever. Our son , Alex , who we lost in 2013 especially liked him , Alex not in the box and Dr. Resi still adored him . He cried buckets of tears when he heard the news. We love you Dr Resi and thinking of you and your family. Love , Kath and Andy Kramer

The concept of being afraid to go to the dentist was completely lost on me because my earliest memories of going to the dentist was with Dr Resnick. I loved how he sang, well, not that he was a great singer but his enthusiasm and the fact that he was so sincere in his joy to sing. He told jokes that were corny, even by kids' standards, but still made you laugh. Most of all I remember how brightened kids' spirits. He was so happy to see the kids and knew them by name, as if coming over to play in his playroom.
I often think how fortunate I was to have such a dentist and how the world is so different that it's unlikely to have someone practice the way he did. May God bless him and his family.

Resi was the reason I didn't fear dentists as a child- he laid the foundation for my healthy dental habits as an adult. I will always remember him singing to me as he was giving my teeth a good cleaning, and I was always so proud to be part of his captain zero club! My heart is so heavy to read this- he was a wonderful person. My heartfelt condolences to his loved ones. He will always hold a very special place in my heart.

What a wonderful man so kind, funny, and compassionate. He was my daughter's dentist during her childhood. Always a pleasant experience when going to the appts. - loved hearing Rezzie-Pooh singing as we entered the building!
To Rhoda and Leslie - May peace cup your heart and hold it gently....

Dr. Resnick made me feel welcome when I first moved to Denver from Texas as a brand new orthodontist in 1996. He referred some patients even though I was new to the area. He was very a kind, wonderful man and I remember wishing that I would have had more time to share his patients. Thanks for making dentistry easier for all those children. He will surely be missed and I wish for peace for his family.

Dr Resnick was my dentist as a child. He made going to the dentist fun. not scary. I especially remember the toy drawer. You were allowed to pull one after your exam. Thank you kind sir

Some 50 plus years ago I was a patient of Dr. Resnick. As a child at age 4 or 5 years old I managed to fall and knock out a significant number of my front teeth. I was rushed in to see Dr. Resnick. I don't remember what was done at that time, I only remember meeting my funny, kind, caring and compassionate dentist. From that day forward I looked forward to my regular dental visits with Dr. Resnick. I also fondly remember the treasure chest he had in his office in which you were able to select a prize (not a toothbrush!) after your appointment. I attribute the fact that I have no fear of dentists or dental procedures because I was fortunate enough to have Dr. Resnick as my first dentist. He was an amazing dentist and left a lasting impression in my life. Sending healing thoughts to his family at this time.

Rezzie-pooh, as he gave my girls express permission to call him, was an amazing human being, not to mention an exceptional pediatric dentist. We all loved him. Thanks for the wonderful memories (not something commonly said about trips to the dentist).

Dr. "Rezzie" was a consistent friend in our lives from the first time we brought Oliver in after he knocked a tooth loose on the playground. My kids and I loved Ron Resnick. He will be missed by all whose lives he touched.

Dr. Resnick made dentistry fun for our three children. A fond memory is bumping into him at a tourist shop at Fisherman's Wharf in SFO, as he was trying on funny masks for use in his practice. A great man. May he rest in peace.

Dr. Resnick was my children's dentist for years. Whenever they had a dental appointment they actually looked forward to it because of Dr. Rez. He told funny stories, silly jokes, and always had a smile for everyone. He also wore the most colorful hand painted shoes and loved to show them to everyone. When he retired we could not find a dentist that matched his enthusiasm or gentle nature. He was a great dentist, but an even greater man who will be missed.
