I too was one of Sam's roommates at the Empire House on East 8th Ave circa 1969. I am sure all who ever knew Sam have many fond & funny memories..I know I do. Rest In Peace, amigo!

Sam and I were roommates in the late 60s, at an apt at 825 Dahlia, Denver, what wild 3 years, the stories I could tell are the funniest ever, Las Vegas , there is a pine on e Colfax just east of Yosemite on the south side on a bank lot where a tree is bent over, that is because Sam parked his red Plymouth barracuda on top of it, it lived, but Is deformed, we had great laughs and fun, Dan Wyckoff
