We are sad to announce the passing of Dave on Monday, December 5, 2022 at the age of 76. Dave was born on November 23rd 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Charles Dyer and Diane Knowlton.

He attended Granger High until he was drafted into the Army in 1966. He then started his career with Atlantic & Pacific Fisheries where he worked for many years, his main passion was doing taxes for the family business (he had genius math skills) Quality Accounting which he was currently still doing work.

Dave married Nancy Brems Johnson in 1973 they were married for 11 years and raised 2 beautiful children Brandy, Jackie and 2 step children lvan and Cheryl. They later divorced and he married Kathy Ball in 1990 they got divorced a short time after.

He loved bowling with Jolley Corkers, golfing, fishing and camping he believed in roughing it, you don't sleep in a trailer you sleep in a tent that was his theory. You would often find him sitting on his patio with his coffee and newspaper he read that paper on a daily basis. Dave loved all sports but going to the UTE games was the best!

Dave is preceded in death by his father, mother, sister Tudy, daughter-in-law Buffy, nieces Jenifer, Misty, Diane and stepbrother Ed. He is survived by his children Ivan, Cheryl (Shaun), Brandy and Jackie (Joe), 17 grandchildren Alyssa (Omar), CJ, Austin, Rylan (Sabrina), Cassi (Tom), Brittany, Megan, Dalton (Jordin), Cory (Kylie), Davin, Erin, Mike (Lisa), Victoria (Travis), Kayla (Devin), Kevin, Gabbi & Jayden, 21 great grandkids a great great-granddaughter and one on the way. Sister Debie who he loved very much and his 2 stepsisters Mel and Wendy, lots of nieces, nephews and cousins.

The last few years of his life he lived at Truewood by Merrill where he made many friends in his short time there.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Murray City Cemetery, 5490 South Vine Street, Murray, Utah at 11:30 am followed by a celebration of life at Pioneer Hall, located at 1137 W. 7800 S. West Jordan, Utah.
