Holly,
I was so sorry to hear about Gene. He is really going to be missed. He was always so willing to help and patiently explain. He was a great guy to work with. I will miss that 'wry sense of humor/wit' that he would share when trying to resolve a problem. It made the task at hand a little easier.

It was really a shock to hear about Gene. I am all too familiar with the heartache and emptiness combined with grief you are feeling now, and sympathize. I've learned that God gave us memories to ease the pain of living day to day without those we love. Time soothes the absence and brings to our recall the fond memories we've shared. In the beautiful memories, may you find peace, in the love that surrounds you, may you find strength.

I don't know when I first met Gene, but I don't know when I didn't know him. We went through school together. Sometimes he was so funny. He was a great guy.

I worked with Gene at the phone company back in the early 80's. We shared some good times together. Gene was a great guy, fiercely loyal to his friends. The world will be a little less bright without him.
Travel safe and warm, Gene-o.
