I am so sorry to hear of Brother Bartholomew's passing.
My mother and father, E. Leland & Beulah N. Widdison, served in the mission field with your parents. They both thought often of your parents and told many stories of their adventures with your parents. My father passed away 5 years ago and my mother is now living in West Jordan. I will never forget the times our family shared with your family.

I want to express my condolences for the loss of your father. We became friends when we lived in Coos Bay, Oregon during World War II. Our baby died and your mother took care of all the funeral arrangements while my wife remained in the hospital. We were very pleased when we found out that we both had moved to the Rose Park Stake and became good friends. Your parents were great people and we will never forget how nice they treated us.

Dear Bartholomew Ohana-

We want to express our "aloha" to you all and send our condolescences to each of you for the loss you have recently experienced. As you well know, your Dad has lived a very good life and will be well remembered by many. I wish I could be there to see you all, but I got married and live in Boise, ID, so I told Noe she will need to represent our ohana.

Please know that are prayers are with each of you at this time.
Eleanor, we miss you in our Utah Polynesian Choir. May the Lord's blessings be with you all during this period of separation and someday we will meet again at a BIG luau up there.
