David Bloomquist, 36 was born June 15, 1978, to Ronald and Barbara Bloomquist in Des Moines, Iowa. He left us on August 30, 2014.

David is survived by his mother, Barb (Bloomquist) Addy and her husband, Tony; brother and best friend, Joe Webster; brothers, Daniel Bloomquist and Brian (Megan) Bloomquist; his niece and Goddaughter, Makinley, and niece, Haizley; step-brother, Eric (Ashley) Addy; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ron Bloomquist; grandparents, Max & Vivian Bloomquist, Oscar & Margareta Landuyt; and his grandmother, Mary Jane Davidson.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 6, 2014, at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Casual attire (jeans) is welcomed.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of David.

I knew him from the short time he worked at Lutheran hospital.. If this. Is the same person.. If he is please know that I just found out and I am truely sorry for the family's loss.. He was wonderful and funny.. I've missed him everyday he's been gone from the hospital ??
