Jim Lundquist was born in 1938 in Cherokee, Iowa to Raymond and Helga (Swanson) Lundquist and died November 2, 2017 in Spirit Lake, Iowa. He graduated from Buena Vista College where he was a member of the Delta Phi Pho fraternity. He and his wife lived in Van Meter and St. Charles before moving to Rock Rapids, Iowa. His love of family included his cousins, nieces and nephews, and longtime friends who were like family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Spirit Lake Protective Association, Hope Lodge of the American Cancer Society, or the St. Charles Lions Club.
