A visitation will be held June 24, 2009, at 5 to 8 p.m., St. Paul Lutheran Church, Ankeny, Iowa. The funeral service is 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 25, St. Paul Lutheran Church, Ankeny, Iowa. Interment will be 4:30 p.m at the Riverview Cemetery, Algona, IA.
In Lieu of Flowers: Please designate memorial gifts to "For The Sake Of The Church".
He will be missed by his children: Loretta (Brian) Katt, Conroe, TX; Kathleen (Dennis) Breidert, Arvada, CO; Paul L. Sohn, Hiawassee, GA; Julie (Alan) Garner, Lake Havasu City, AZ; James P. Sohn, Ankeny, IA; Leila (Richard) Webb, Stafford Springs, CT; David L. (Terry) Sohn, Orange, CA; Dr. John (Lynn) Koester, Ankeny, IA; Paul (Dawn) Koester, San Antonio, TX; grandchildren: 20 great-grandchildren: ten. Surviving brother is Rev. Edwin Sohn, San Leandro, CA.
