News Death Notice

BACHELOR, Karen Elaine 53, of Lebanon, OH passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Friday, April 23, 2010. Born July 28, 1956 in Middletown, OH to Elmer C. and Lucy (nee: Presley) Bachelor, she was a 1974 graduate of Kings High School. Karen was also a member of the O.E.S., Lebanon Eagles, where she also tended bar, VFW Auxiliary and Moose Lodge. She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer, son, Bradley Bachelor, brother, Phillip Bachelor and sisters, Janet Cole and Patricia Kelso. Survivors include her mother, Lucy, daughter, Heather Parsons of Middletown, OH, brother, Jeff Bachelor of South Lebanon, OH, daughter-in-law, Shana Hall, grandchildren, Allison and Jared Parsons, Hunter Timler, Maverick Mason and Memphis Bachelor, special nieces, Lynn Bowman and Melissa Kennard and many friends, cousins, aunts and uncles. Visitation was held Monday, April 26 from 5-8:00 PM with Eagle and OES services at 7:30 PM at Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon, OH. Funeral service was Tuesday, April 27th at 2:00 PM also at the funeral home. Interment followed in Lebanon Cemetery. Memorial donations are requested to Hospice of Hamilton. Iknew Karen from when I went to Kings and she was always a very sweet and friendly person and friend. She is now an angel and stands beside our Lord, Jesus Christ. May God bless Karen and her family.
