Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., with the Rev. Dwaine Greene and Dr. Randy Rudisell officiating. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Conrad was born in Prairie Hill on April 18, 1920. He graduated from Dallas Tech High School in 1939. He was a captain in the Army Air Corps, U.S. Army Air Force, during World War II. He married Evelyn Sutton on June 3, 1950. He received his degree from Baylor University in December 1950. He was a longtime member of Birdville Baptist Church and served 18 years with the nursing home ministry, after his medical retirement from Bell Helicopter in 1969. He also served six years as president of the retirees at UAW Local 218. Conrad was preceded in death by his parents, C.H. and Clara Roberts; and sister, Edna Jane Schanz.
Survivors: Wife of 53 years, Evelyn Roberts; daughters, Connie Berry, Marilyn Roberts, Jane Miller, Ruth Fleming and husband, Reese; and granddaughter, Lauren Broward.
