David Bond Obituary

David Bond
December 9, 1965 - July 3, 2022
Keller, Texas - My name is David Alan Bond, born December 9th, 1965. If you are reading this, I am dead. My life was cut short due to a terrible disease. In the end, I chose quality of life over quantity of time. I love life and I have tried to live it to its fullest. I am a proud Texas Aggie class of 88'. I worked hard in software development for over 35 years so I could play hard at my hobbies. I enjoyed skiing, gambling, shooting, scuba diving, flying airplanes, racing cars, playing saxophones, riding extreme roller coasters, chess and movies. I am survived by my beautiful wife and love of my life, Michelle Bushong. It took me three times at the alter, but I'm glad I finally got it right in the end. In addition to my wife, Michelle, I am also survived by my stepdaughter, Madelyn Bushong, my best friend and brother from another mother Michael Allen, my dogs Mazi and Daphne, my Aunt Pat and Uncle Ed who are like second parents, as well as many other loved ones, friends and family; too many to name. I leave this world with only 2 regrets:
1. not having more time with my soulmate, Michelle
2. not getting to say goodbye to my children
I believe in God and I take comfort in knowing that one day I will be with all of my loved ones again. I am looking forward to Winnie, Tim, Bob, Robert and Perry greeting me at the pearly gates. I love you all. I am grateful for my chosen family, friends and the many blessings God has bestowed upon me. I've learned so much in this life. I love you, Michelle; you are the best thing that ever happened to me. To my loved ones, I will always be with you in spirit.
See you on the other side,
Delta Bravo

Michelle

3 years ago today is when you left this world. I miss you. I love you. I painted the kitchen pink! We'd have to get polish to match. The doggies said, "Hi!". Thank you for all the laughs, friendship, love, hugs, and kisses. We'll see you on the other side.
