I have just heard of Coach Baldock's passing so am writing this at a very late date. Felt I had to because he was such a wonderful person. He was my science teacher at MJH in the 60's; his class was always something to look forward to...was always a pleasure to be in his company. After I was grown I saw him a few times around the east-side...still with a smile on his face. He will be so missed by so many. Bless you all.

A few names have come to me recently, Coach Baldock being one of them. I was a Meadowbrook & Hills student, graduating in 95. Over the years I've maintained contact with Mr. Housewright and he has informed me of this loss. Though I didn't play sports I remember Coach Baldock as you've described a gentle man.
Offering blessings and warm memories to the Baldock family.

I am proud to be able to call George a friend. As teachers in schools across the street from each other we had many opportunities to make connections with eachother. Past students would tell me good things about George. Peace and Comfort be with Marilyn and the family.

My Grandfather was an extremely selfless man with a heart of gold. He always put others before himself and made everyone feel so loved. I am so glad to have been able to develop such a strong relationship with him in my 18 years of life. While his physical presence will be missed, I know he will always be with me and my family in spirit. We love you Papa George.

To Mike, my Dad - I want you to know that I see every good quality of Papa George in you. You bring the same sense of calm to our family that he did. Your selflessness mirrors his in such a way that you cannot imagine. I hope that the love and support of this family keep you strong during this difficult time. I am always here for you. I love you Daddy.

Coach Baldock taught me to never forget the colors of the rainbow and the order of the spectrum of light (Roy G Biv)...and, much more in middle school science. : o) Good memories. Likewise, good memories with the Baldock boys, especially Grady - from the first year of public school to the last. The Baldocks even go back to before that, when my mother, Pat Small, kept the "boys." My thoughts and prayers are with you, Baldock family, during this difficult time. Bless each of you, particularly right now.

I was a student at Meadowbrook Junior High in the 60's and benefitted greatly from Coach's guidance during a time of growth when I needed it most. I have many fond memories of my time with him and since I still think of him from time to time I was sad to hear of his passing. May God bless your family and be comforted in the knowledge that he will be fondly remembered and had such a positive influence on so many people.

What a kind soul! When I was only 8 my father took the whole family to see George Henry in his high school play. Although he was my cousin, I thought that I he was the handsomest man I had ever seen, except for my father, of course! His wonderful speaking voice and his gentle ways have always held a special place in my heart. For years I didn't get to see George Henry until he came to my mother's funeral and he was the same caring man I grew to love as a youngster. He will be remembered for his loving grace, ready smile and kind ways. My heart goes out to the family and I hope that my twin Michael can give you all hugs for me!

George Henry, as he was known in Maypearl, TX by his many school days friends grew up to be the man forecast by his childhood: good natured, quiet spoken, concerned for others, a wonderful basketball player, and a true friend.
He moved into our small-town school in third grade - I think. We rode the schoolbus together, went through every class together through highschool, and then went away to Texas Wesleyan College together. He escorted me to my first college dance, because I was too shy to ask anyone else.
He walked through life in a slope, better to hear and talk to all those around him. What a wonderful guy! How fortunate that all of us knew him and could enjoy his company through these years.
Kindest regards to you, his family.
