Gordan Scott Gibson ARLINGTON -- Gordan Scott Gibson, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and good friend, left this world for a peace that knows no bounds on March 16, 2018. Scott has donated his body for research to the University of North Texas Health Science Center medical school. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Park Row Christian Academy, 915 W. Park Row Dr., Arlington, TX 76013. Scott was born in Houston to Gordan and Janie Gibson on September 11, 1958. He moved with his family to Arlington in 1968. He was a 1977 graduate of Lamar High School and earned a business degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. Scott spent his career in the aviation industry with General Dynamics (Lockheed Martin), Boeing and Bell Helicopter, serving in financial analysis and planning roles that supported operations. Scott was a lifelong friend to many from as early as grade school, and member of the North Davis Church of Christ. Scott loved to spend time just being with family. He especially enjoyed traveling, riding motorcycles and listening to all types of music. He will be greatly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his father. SURVIVORS: Scott is survived by his wife of 34 years, Paula Gibson; his daughter, Ashley Liebel (husband Eric); sons, Tyler and Kolton; grandsons, Knox and Nash Liebel; mother, Janie Gibson; sister, Melissa Saniuk (husband Steve); brothers, Jon Gibson (wife Marla) and Mike Gibson; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
