John Fink Obituary
Memorial service: for family and friends, 2 p.m. Saturday at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel. Burial: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at a later date.
Jack was born Oct. 30, 1921. He lived a full life, serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II, from 1942 to 1946. During his time in the Navy, he served upon the USS Kula in 1946. He was married Oct. 11, 1947; soon after he became a proud father to his two sons. Jack worked for 45 years at the Bituminous Casualty Co. as a underwriter until his retirement in 1991. As as member of Oak Cliff Country Club for many years, Jack was able to enjoy his passions for golf, gin rummy and good company. Jack was a proud lifelong member of the Elks Lodge. Jack will be remembered as a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. Jack will be truly be missed.
"Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth will grow old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my rightousness shall not be abolished." Isaiah 51:6.

Survivors: His wife of 56 years, Marjorie; sons, John Jr. and Paul; and granddaughter, Melissa.
