Justin Wilson Obituary

Justin Dean Wilson, 13, went to be with the Lord Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010, in Irving.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Euless. Interment: Benbrook Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Funeral Home.
Justin was born Feb. 20, 1996, in Arlington. He loved his family and had a heart for Christ. He loved sports and had a special talent for playing football and baseball. He was able to play in 2007, 11 and under U.S.S.S.A. World Series for the Texas Blues. Justin then played football as a defensive back and on special teams for the eighth-grade Coppell West Wranglers and was looking forward to becoming a member of the Coppell Cowboys.
Justin had many other things that he enjoyed, including learning German, loved photography, martial arts and working on his yellow belt. He also had a special love for his Dr Pepper and Cheez-its. He also loved his pets, Brodie and Murphy, his golden retrievers. We also believe that he will be running with his goldens, Campbell and Gibson, who were waiting for him over the rainbow bridge where they are now running together in heaven. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Justin was preceded in death by his grandfather, Horace Wilson, and grandparents, Richard and Mary Nicholson.
Survivors: Father, Roy Dean Wilson; mother, Sandra Marilyn Nicholson Burke and husband, Bill; brother, Brian Clark; sisters, Kimberly Bowen and Courtney Carnley and husband, Craig; grandparents, Terry and Alpha Lindsay; uncles, Gene Wilson and wife, Lynda Kay, Mark Nicholson and wife, Tina, and Shane Nicholson and wife, Shannon; aunt, Cindy Coker and husband, Alex; nephews, Tyler and Lance Bowen; and a host of other loving family members.

It's been a long 3 years, trying to go through school wondering what'd it be like with him here. I remember Justin in my 8th grade English class, he sat behind me. I remember he'd always make the funniest comments during class, and he'd make me laugh so much. It's hard to accept the fact he's gone, but i try and tell myself that he's in a better place. I miss Justin, everyone does. I can't wait to meet him up there.

I apologize, my previous entry got cut short for some weird reason.

Justin Wilson was my Awesome 13 year old uncle. We played video games, sports, and hide and seek together. We would sing and play War Pigs by Black Sabbath every time we hung out. He even wanted me to teach him to play guitar. He was the best uncle and friend anyone could ever wish for. I hope I'll be able to meet him up there in heaven one day. Until that day comes, I'll miss him and I'll pray every night that we'll get to hang out again. With love and hope, Brian David Clark II

Every day I go to school, I always wonder what it would be like just to have Justin back in my history and science class again. It is truley impossible to go a day with out thinking about him. He was a great friend and was always happy! I know for sure that he is with God. Bless you and your family! I can not wait to meet him soon!

Roy,
There are no words to say how Sherri and I feel for you right now in your loss other than the Lord will keep you well in the worst of times.

I remember you telling me of your move to Coppell and the picture-puzzle car and the long drive to work. All "to be near my son".

We pray that you'll love the drive you take to see him again, in God's good time.

The Wilson Family,

Your son Justin was a wonderful role model, especially to boys younger than him like my 7th grade son. Many longed to aspire to his athleticism.

Although not close friends, our sons rode the bus together in the afternoon. We were all devastated by the news of his passing. The CMSW community grieves the loss of a wonderful young man. No bond is greater that than that of a parent to a child, praying God's comfort in the days ahead.

From the day you moved in across the street Justin was always ready to give a warm smile and wave. When he would say Hi and ask how you were you could tell he wasn't just asking. He really seemed to want to know. We never really got to know Justin very well but from what I did know he had a love of life, his family and dogs.

Your family is in my prayers!
