1950
2002
Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at the House of Prayer Church, 2601 Thomas Road, Haltom City. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
Loyall was born April 17, 1950, to the Rev. Burt and Daisy Utter in Pittsburg, Kan. He moved to Fort Worth in 1970 and worked as a brick mason, then later developed Utter Masonry Co. He retired in 1995 in order to assist his wife in their alternative health business, Natural Solution, founded in 1982.
He was characterized by his wit, humor and ability to bring a smile to any face. His strong since of values, honesty, integrity and care for his family will not be forgotten.
Son of an evangelist, he used his talents to work for the Lord from the age of 6. His exceptional singing voice and musical abilities blessed many over the years. In his youth, he was a member of a gospel singing group, The Pilgrim's Quartet. He also served the Lord in ministry as a Sunday school teacher, church choir director, seminar speaker and, in the past four years, as pastor of House of Prayer Church in Haltom City. He ministered alongside his father-in-law, Junior Lee Vandergriff, who preceded him in death in 2001.
Loyall enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He was known for his love of books and Bible study. He also enjoyed fishing, vacationing to the mountains, singing gospel music and spending time in fellowship with other Christians. He was a handyman that could fix most anything and spent his free time going to garage sales and antique stores, looking for the rare and unique find.
Survivors: Wife of 32 years, Karen Utter; son, Loyall Aaron Utter Jr. and wife, Kristen, of Fort Worth; daughters, Delania McCarty and husband, Ricky, of Springtown, Chrystie Greer and husband, Jon, of Watauga; sister, Flower Williams and husband, Ronnie, of Pittsburg, Kan.; grandchildren, Jacob and Kara Utter, Clay, Jeremy, Boston, Brittney and Breanna McCarty, and Jared Greer; and many extended family members and friends.
