North Richland Hills, Texas - Mary C. Mantooth, 85, cherished by family and friends, left this life to meet her sweet Jesus on Thursday, August 24, 2023.
Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Mary C. Mantooth was born Jan. 2, 1938, in Houston, Texas and as a baby moved to Fort Worth. She grew up in the Diamond Hill area where she received her education. As a spouse in the Air Force, she held many Jobs. Mary found her career in the Tarrant County Criminal Courts as Court Coordinator. When she retired, she opened a privately owned postal service and then sold the business. Mary then started an Embroidery business. Mary's greatest love was her family and her beloved dogs. Mary would comment "I had a wonderful life."
Preceding her in death were her father, Henry Dulong; Mother Anie Dulong; sister-in-law, JoAnn Alderman-Black; Husband, Harold Mantooth; Son in law, Mr. Ron Gales
Survivors: Son, Harold Mantooth Jr. and wife, Debbie; daughter, Mary Lynn Gales; Granddaughter, Milo Sparks "The storyteller"; and Husband, Hannon Sparks; Great- Grandchildren, Soli and Knox.
