Good-bye ole friend! Milton went to high school with me @ Barbers Hill ISD in Mt. Belvieu, Tx. It was great reading all the messages about his teaching and music. He played music as a kid in Barbers Hill. What a fine man he turned out to be. I know his family was proud of him. So sorry for your loss.

Vickie and Family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I was shocked to hear that Milton had passed away. I was one of your students at CJH many years ago, you married Milton the year I was in your class. My oldest son(Nick McCue) attends CJH and told me about your loss, again I am very sorry and if there is anything I can do for you please feel free to call or email me.

Dear Vickie and Family,
Words cannot express the sorrow that you must be going through, but let me assure you that it is only a temporary separation and as your Son-in-law said yesterday, Milton is going ahead to wait for all of us who love Christ.
As far as the “Phantom” is concerned, Milton was not a good practical joker, he was a quintessential practical joker.
The only God created creature which laughs are people because we are created in His image.
Laughing is one of the first things we learn as babies and I believe it is this wonderful gift that helps us stay child like. Milton was magnificent at spreading the gift.
I got a birthday card from a teacher at Central one year and it simply said:
THERE ARE THOSE WHO ARE YOUNG,
THERE ARE THOSE WHO THINK YOUNG AND
THERE ARE THE FOREVER YOUNG.
Happy Birthday Milton
From Your Brother in Christ
Trey Conniff (The Coach)
Ps It was not a super jumbo shrimp when I found it. In the heat it had become shrimp soup and to this day Paul Haston (the young man who was in my office at the time) is still singing praises of gratitude for Milton’s gift to me of laughter.

VICKIE AND FAMILY--
I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR OF MILTON'S DEATH. ALTHOUGH THE ACQUAINTANCE WAS SHORT AND THROUGH MY SISTER, CARLA, I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT WHENEVER, AND WHERE I SAW YOU AND MILTON, YOU BOTH WERE ALWAYS SMILING. HE HAD A WONDERFUL, BIG, CARING SMILE. YOU BOTH WERE ALWAYS READY TO STOP AND SAY HELLO. I APPRECIATED THE FACT THAT HE WAS MOST HELPFUL TO MY NIECE, ALYSSA. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY THROUGH THIS DIFFICULT TIME.
MY SYMPATHY, PRAYERS, AND THOUGHTS ARE WITH EACH OF YOU.
SINCERELY,
DR. DIANNE GARCIA

Milton was a blessing to all he touched. I was so honored to be a co-worker of his and more importatnly, a friend of his. I will treasure his smile, quick humor, and practical jokes. The heart that he had for the many students he touched will be remembered forever. May God bless his family.

I know Mr. Milton is in a better place, but we will all miss him so much. He was so happy and caring of our children. Our comfort can come from Luke 9:48... Then he said to them, "Whoever welcomes this little child in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. For he who is least among you all—he is the greatest." I know Mr. Milton is great, and in a great place right now, because of his obvious love for our kids...God Bless, Sharleen Siewinski

Mr. Reeves was my favorite teacher while I was attending CJH. I have never before or since had a teacher like him. He was personable, caring, patient and devoted to educating each and every one of us. Naturally I was excited to learn that he was teaching at Treetops when I enrolled my son. Unfortunately, he did not get the chance to know Mr. Reeves as well as I had, since my son is only in kindergarten; but he knew who he was and is saddened by his passing. To Mrs. Reeves and Family: I am sorry for your loss and am sure you know how deeply he affected every child he taught.

Milton could put a smile on your face no matter what kind of day you were having, that was a gift from God that he willingly shared and I thank him for that. I'm sure that the angels in heaven are all smiling & laughing with him now. He was a special and talented man in so many ways. God bless his family and take comfort in knowing that he is watching over you until you meet again!

Mr. Reeves was my teacher when I was at Central Junior High and then my daughter's teacher when she was in middle school at Treetops. I remember the first time that I saw him at Treetops after so many years. I was so touched (and shocked!) that he remembered me as one of his past students. I will remember him fondly.
My deepest condolences to the family....each of you are in my family's thoughts and prayers.
Blessings,

I had Mr. Milton in the eighth grade. Some of my very best friends in the entire world whom I still love to this day, also had his class with me. I gave Mr. Milton the hardest time, always talking back and arguing with him over the littlest things. But he always tolerated me, and never gave up on letting me stay in his class, no matter how awful I was behaving that day.
I don't know how everyone will choose to remember Mr. Milton: Some will remember him as their teacher, some, their co-worker. To others, a father, a brother, a husband. To some, his memory will forever be cherished as none other than a beloved friend and an amazing person. But this is how I choose to remember Mr. Milton:
One day, after getting into a huge argument, over nothing as usual, I decided I couldn't fight anymore, and I stormed out of class and walked outside to the office. It was just starting to rain. I went to talk to Mrs. Lea, crying of course, saying how mean Mr. Milton was to me. I called my mother, and she convinced me to go back to class. By this time, it had really started to storm, and it was absolutley pouring rain outside. I was on my way back to the middle school, to Mr. Milton's room, when I saw him standing out in the rain, no umbrella, soaked to the bone waiting for me to come back. When I got closer, he smiled at me and asked me to come back inside.
Mr. Milton will always be a very special person to me, not only because he was my favorite teacher, but because I know that he always loved me, no matter how hideous I was acting that day.
I love you too Mr. Milton. I'll be seeing you.

I'll miss your "Hey Kid! Still - what? You still drawin'?" and your "Put the paper away. Don't draw in class!" You were a good teacher. You cared about your students, and they care about you. Nobody needs to tell you that you'll be missed. ...It's a given. Rest well.

Thanks Mit..for the memories..and the practical jokes and above all..for just bringing the laughter in our lives..Its not goodbye..its Just "until later" when we meet again. Thanks for the honor of being a Pall Bearer..and know that all of you are kept in prayer.

Mr.Milton was my 7th-8th grade Science and History teacher. He was not only a teacher but like a Grandpa to me. His nickname for me was Morgana and he would never forget that. Just about everyday after school Mr. Milton would say hello and ask me how I was doing. He always told me that he missed me and would let me know how my brother was doing in his class. I remember having detention with Mr.Milton and usually I would care but i never did because I knew it was with Mr.Milton and who better to have it with. He will always be missed.

This comes as a shock.
I have been away from HEB twenty-one years but never expected to read Milton's obituary online in the Star-Telegram.

God bless your family.
