Memorial service: was at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Alban's Episcopal Church in Arlington.
Memorials: Scottish Rite Hospital of Dallas or Vitas Hospice of Arlington.
Nancy passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was an Arlington resident since 1968. Nancy's loves were life, family and her home.
Survivors: Husband, Darrell Hitt of Arlington; daughters, Heidi Melton and Maj. Michael Kamei of Fort Knox, Ky., Lisa Marguerite Melton and Steven Glasgow of Arlington and Amy Elizabeth Melton of Arlington; brother, Leo Boyd of San Diego, Calif.; sister, Gloria Bickley of Sun City, Ariz.; and granddaughters, Bonnie Claire Kamei and Sarah Jessica Kamei of Fort Knox.

Daryl and Family,
I was so saddened by Nancy's death. She was a very sweet lady and couragous fighter. She was always so pleasant and never complaining, even when she felt so bad. You are in my heart and prayers.
