I felt a great sadness when I learned of Ramona's passing. We attended high school together and I knew her to be very friendly and very kind. She always had a smile to share and now that I'm older I've learned that a smile can change a person's day. So I know that Ramona touched many lives & I'm so glad she knew the Lord.
God Bless You

I read of Ramona's passing through our high school reunion website. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. I remember that Ramona always had a smile on her face and was kind to everyone she met. My heart aches for her young daughter however, I am comforted knowing that Ramona's smile will live on through her daughter's joy and laughter.

I was shocked to hear the news of Ramona's death. I saw her entry on our high school website just weeks ago and was happy to see that she was doing so well. I just wanted to express my sympathy to her husband and family. I remember that Ramona was a genuinely loving person and I am comforted by the fact that she was a committed Christian.

I have been deeply hurt by the unfortunate news of Ramona's passing. We have such a long history from elementary school, middle school and of coarse high school. I remember the slumber parties and times we would spend on the phone talking about how we hoped that our future would be. Ramona was an amazing and intelligent person that will always have a true place in my heart. Mr. and Mrs. Harris, Naomi, and Ben, my heart felt sympathy and constant prayers are with you.

Ramona will be greatly missed and will always have a special place in my heart. We graduated from SHS together in 1995 and she was always so nice to me ever since Wedgewood Middle School. We were not able to keep in contact after 1999, but a couple of weeks ago I was looking through my high school yearbook because of the upcoming class reunion. Ramona left me the following message in 1995 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart. If we never meet again in this life Bronwyn, I will see you in heaven. Your mansion or mine." Ramona was always wise beyond her years and I know when she met God he said "Job Well Done my Good and FAITHFUL SERVANT". My prayers and condolences to the Downing and Harris Families. God Bless.

To Jonathan, Noelani, Bro. & Sis. Harris, Naomi, Benjamin, and other members of Ramona's family: God has reached down from heaven and plucked a beautiful rose from His garden. We want to ask why Lord did you take such a precious jewel so young and the new mother of a precious baby girl. We know that your hearts are heavy at this time and we have asked God in His infinite mercy to reach down and enfold each one of you in His big arms of love and comfort. May He give each one of you that extra measure of strength to carry you through the days, months, and years ahead. Jonathan, as you raise your precious little daughter we ask that God would give you the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to be both Daddy and Mommie to her. May you raise her to know the love of God as her dear Mommie did. Her smiling face and excitement for Jesus will be missed at every function, yet God knows all. We know that she is dancing on the streets of glory right now. We love all of you so much and will continue to pray for each one of you.
