Patti, and children, right now these are just words, but know you are in our hearts and know that you are loved and prayed for. We ask God to hold you in his arms now and in the future. To give you comfort. Allow yourselves the time to heal. Randy was a blessing to you and his family, always a good word for others, always a helping hand, always kind. He loved each of you very much, and was so very, very proud of you. In the days to come, depend on each other, share your memories with each other and with family, even distant family. Randy was a wonderful person. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Patti....I'm so sorry to hear the news of your and the kids loss. It's been a long time since I was able to spend time with Randy, but I have many great memories of our time at Ryder in Houston together. Randy always had incredibly high standards and tried his best to live up to them everyday..and expected others to do the same. When he left Houston there were many that missed his abilities immediately...me included. I also enjoyed the "play time" we managed to squeeze in occasionally and always knew I could count on Randy as good friend. He meant a lot to me and I'll truly miss him. But I know he will never be far away from me...because I'll never see a bass boat without thinking of him and what he might say at that moment. I truly believe folks are still with us as long as they pop into our minds regularly. I know I'll hear his laugh and I'll remember a joke from time to time...and it will be just like he's sitting next to me. Again Patti, we're all praying for you and your family.

There is no way to understand this loss. Randy epitomized what it means to be a husband and father. I know he's fine now, playing horseshoes and washers with the Big Guy. Trying out his new fishing gear and looking for a good hunting spot. The burden is on those left behind. His loss is a hole that can't be filled. But you will survive, one day at a time. Know you are surrounded by love and prayers. We can't lift your pain, but we're here to help you get through. Just let us know how.

Your entire family is in our thoughts and prayers. I have not seen Randy and Patti in years, but i have enjoyed watching this special one of kind family grow through the likes of Facebook since I moved away and all I can say is heaven has received one of the most kind incredible men I have ever known. Truly our loss but heaven's gain. Rest in peace Randy and god bless the Stech family.

To all of the family, we are so deeply saddened and left wondering "why" (as others) this happened to such a wonderful man, husband, father, and everything else he was and always will be. Our hearts go out to you deeply. Praise God Patti you are ok and know he is in a much better place than we, although he will be missed so very much.
