To my daughter and my son-in-law and his family:

I came to know Bob through you and I grew to love him because he was "Bob." We had the pleasure of traveling with his family several times and truly had a wonderful time. Bob will be greatly missed as a husband, father, and grandfather. God bless the entire family and stay with each and everyone of them to give them strength to carry on. Bob would have wanted it that way.

I never had the opportunity to meet Bob face to face but we worked long distance on a couple of projects. He was always prepared for our meetings but what I really liked was that he was enjoyable to talk to. I will miss him.

To Bob's family,

My deepest sympathy to you on your recent loss. Bob is a good man, a trusted and dependable colleague in the PMO, and a good project manager. I have had the pleasure of working with him supporting the Raytheon customers located in Texas. I know that the customers will miss his 'human' touch and we, in CSC, will miss his steady voice reporting all is well from Texas.

Every meeting with Bob and every memory of him conjure up superlatives – a true gentleman, gracious, patient, calm and calming, pleasant, laughter-generating, supportive, smiling, kind, respectful, gentle, positive, so loving of his family and friends and life as a whole, sincere – all that made him a real friend and someone I sought to have on my ‘team.’

Bob will continue to live in my heart and thoughts – I have been truly blessed to have worked with him. There will always be a spark of light because of what he was and how he treated all of us around him.

My heart and condolences go out to you. May you continue to be as blessed now and in the future as you were when he was at home with you. I truly will miss him.

Bob was a great storyteller, and what a wealth of experience he had to draw from. We miss his can-do attitude and celebrate his accomplishments everyday. It was a pleasure to have known him, if only for a short time.

Although Bob and I worked near each other on the F/A-18 at Northrop Grumman for many years, we did not really meet until CSC had a management seminar, the end of June 2000, at the Disneyland Hotel.

Bob's management insight, ability to drill down to the core of a problem, clear communications and easy laugh impressed all who came to know him those three days.

His passing is a loss not just to family and friends, but to CSC, our PMO organization and his customers as well.

I really liked working with Bob when he was here in Wichita. He was a good hard worker and helped out tremendously with the transition from RAC to CSC. He often spoke of his family (especially his wife) while he was here. My deepest sympathy to the family and the many friends that I am sure he had.

To the Covell Family -

I was very blessed to have the opportunity to meet and work with Bobby for the last year (Wichita and SoCal) ... I already miss him and that after only knowing him for a short time. Bobby was one of those extremely rare individuals ... besides being smart, he cared abouth what he did and it was evident in the way he worked (and played around) with those folks who were fortunate enough to cross his path. I'll miss the salty old boy and the beers we had at the end of a long day ... you will always be remembered as a true friend ... continue in peace and look over those who loved you Bobby.

your friend,

Johnny C.

Bob was a great guy to work with. He often showed us pictures of his family and talked about them often. Bob was a great comfort to me while my son was in boot camp - he told stories of his time in the military and let me know my son would be fine. I appreciated his comforting words. May your memories of Bob comfort you. Kim
