I just saw this post today on Facebook and my heart is so sad. I was one of Scott's teachers at TBI and loved him dearly. Over the years, I have wondered where he was and even asked others on several occasions, but had never reconnected with him. Wish I could have told him that I thought he had become a wonderful man. His smile, his love for God and his never wavering optimism was contagious. He had the heart of a servant and was a joy to be around, all the time! My prayers go out for his family, especially his wife and boys. I hope that will always remember what a special daddy they have.

As many others here, my wife and I also attended T.B.I with Scott. A very sincere, humbled and courageous man of God. I pray for comfort and strength to the entire Forrest family.

Scott used to come in the Doghouse in Travelers Rest, SC for lunch when I worked there. I told him about Texas Bible Institute and never knew he actually went until summer camp the following year. He was a hard worker, always kind to others and eager to share his faith. I'm very sorry for his wife and 3 boys. I pray they grow up to be like the man I knew.

Scott was an unbelievable man! His love for God stood out amongst the rest and he had the ability to make you smile and laugh at a moments notice. I am honored to have known him and love to see that he lives on through his wonderful family and legacy.

Scott and I were classmates at T.B.I. He was a kind man and a servant to all of his classmates. I loved hanging with and doing ministry with Scott. My heart grieves with all that feel this loss. My prayers for comfort will be with his wife and kids.
