To the Bristow Family,
My deepest symphathies. This is devastating news. It is not even believable. I met Shirley at PCRF and loved her immediately. She was pregnant with Jamie. I met Marla through her and she became my best friend. Some things you do not "get over". This is one of them. My heart goes out to the whole family. May God give you the strength you need. There is a peace when you know that if you die with Christ, you live with Christ. Forever. May God Bless you and keep you.
Love, Trish Thompson

My heart is heavy...I pray I can help lift you all with prayer. I don't know a single person who ever had anything bad to say about Shirley and Lee...what a perfect couple, and what a great way to be remembered in this earthly life. God bless you all.

We have so many great memories of Ms. Shirley. The kids never gave me trouble about getting up in the mornings because they knew that they would be greeted by that beautiful smile! When I picked them up they brought home that contageous loving smile and would share the fun and the songs they had learned that day. I never felt bad about leaving them because I knew I had an angel taking care of them! Now she is everyones angel. Praying for your sweet family at this time.

I explained to my children who loved Miss Shirley since they could walk, that sometimes God lets an angel walk with us for awhile. Shirley is missed by all.
