Dear Bo and Carl,
We are members of St. Michael's parish in Cheney, and although we have never met, you both are part of our Christian family. This will be a difficult time but we offer our prayers, support and love on the day of your father's service and Mass. May you find peace knowing he lived a good and holy life. God Bless. May the promise of Jesus: "Because I live, you shall live also" give you comfort in your time of sorrow.
Given the date of your loved one's death I am reminded of a just before Christmas funeral sermon my assistant pastor (when I was head pastor at Christ Lutheran in Lincoln) gave in which he stated that the loved one was "...home for Christmas!"

From the moment I met Tony I knew he was special. While caring for him he would never complain and always had a smile on his face. After reading Anthony Pelini's 'story', I understand why his 'kids' fit so well into Nebraska. They were given this ethos of faith, integrity, and commitment, and taught the value of hard work.

Anthony James Pelini must be so proud of his family. He will be missed greatly but his presents will forever be felt all the way from Ohio, across the great land he fought for, and now from Big Red country where his family carries on his instructions. Thanks for all your family is doing here, it is wonderful to once again be proud of not only how we fight on the field, but live our lives off the field. GO BIG RED!
