I just heard "Build me up, Buttercup" on the radio and I thought of you because it was one of your favorite songs. I miss you more with every day that passes- I miss our talks-have had my hand on the phone to call or text you, then I remember. I miss our silliness, your smile and laughter, and oh those beautiful, piercing eyes. I miss it all. You "zing" me when I least expect it and then I need to take a deep breath as one of our memories flood me. It's all so bittersweet, buttercup.
Love you my friend-forever

Barb, I never heard anything but good about you, and I know you were a sweet person. I didn't see you but a few times, and you were always so nice. I am glad that Scott introduced you into my life. I will never forget when my son needed a place to stay, and you and Brian had him come to stay with you. I will think of you.

Barb...I know the Rock you have always been to my girls Kaitie and Sami and how much you meant to them, but I also know how much your part of their life meant to me and how much love and respect I have ALWAYS had for you. I spent a good part of my days as a young father in the presence of you and Brian and always looked to both of you for guidance on so many things during those years. You were one of the first people I called when samantha was born and she was brought to her first home under your roof where she was cared for lovingly by not only us, her parents, but by you and Brian. Then when Kaitie was born, it was you who held my hand and kept me calm and helped me to be strong and couragous as a scared young father in the delivery room for the second time in my life. Through the time we lived under the same roof we shared great times and troubled times, but you were always someone who always had my respect, my love and my sincere gratitude for all that you did for your sister, your nieces and myself. My relationship with yourself and Brian as a young man helped me to always remember what it meant to be a good man and always do the very best I could at all I have done in the nearly 20 years since that time. You will ALWAYS be a part of who and what I am, who my daughters are and who they will grow to be. Thank you for all that you are to me and to so many people. You will be missed in ways I cannot even describe. I love you!

Everyday is a new adventure. you taught me that. That everyday needs to be treated like it's special because you never know when something amazing is going to happen to you. You taught me how to be silly and burp and giggle. You were there for everything i ever needed you there for. And for that i am forever greatful. I will always remember your smiling face when we came to visit you. Or when we were dancing in the rain. I know you're always there and i know that you love us. Well we love you eternally and we'll always miss you. you were beloved by so many. And your memory will live on forever.

For more than 27 years, we've experienced a friendship like no other....we laughed together during the happy times and cried with each other during the sad ones.... and everything in between-we even lived together for 5 years. What an absolutely profound and positive effect you had and continue to have on my life with your grace, dignity, and your sense of humor. How truly honored and blessed I feel to have been your friend! I am grateful we were able to see, touch, and say goodbye to each other one more time. Like all those who love you, I too, will miss you terribly. I am comforted in knowing that you are not far though, as I've already felt your presence when the birds are singing and the wind is blowing. Our memories will sustain me and you will always be with me,kittie....and I will always love you.
My heartfelt condolences and love to Brian and each member of the Jones and Crow families.
