Carol Haller Obituary

Haller Carol S. (Mackling) Haller passed away November 9, 2013. Carol was raised in Bucyrus, lived in Westerville for many years, and was retired in Palmetto, Florida. Survived by loving and devoted husband, David Haller; and children, Deborah (Mark) Nofziger, Jeffrey (Shana) Haller, and John (Amy ) Haller. Fondly known as "Mimi" to her eight grandchildren. Also survived by her sister, Linda Macaulay, who gave Carol five extra years of life through the gift of a kidney transplant. Other family members include, two brothers- in- law; three nieces, and a nephew. Carol lived many years with chronic illness. She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends who were inspired by her positive attitude, determination, generosity, and faith. Donations may be made in Carol's name to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, 6797 High Street, Suite 119, Worthington, 43085 or to Lifeline of Ohio, 770 Kinnear Road, Suite 200, Columbus, 43212. The family is planning a memorial in the spring, close to what would have been Carol and Dave's 50th wedding anniversary.

My heart goes out to you in your time of sorrow. I will never forget Carol. She taught me some important life lessons and shared her love unconditionally. I will treasure my memories of Carol always.
