Thinking of family and hoping her memories are close in your heart. Cheri was more than a neighbor, but a friend and go- to in time of need. She was near and dear to my boys and she treated them like family. Frequently on my mind and flashes of silly memories ( her love for Johnny Depp!) Sending our best to you.

I just learned of Cheri's death. My heart goes out to all of Cheri's family and friends. My first roommate and my dear friend in my early 20's, Cheri's joy always lifted my spirits. I will miss knowing she is in the world.

I am not sure I can find the words to say how much I loved and will miss my dear friend and running partner. Words cannot explain my sorrow.
Cheri left a positive footprint on my life and the world. She was the best friend anyone could ever hope for and I feel so lucky that we met and became very close friends.
Cheri, I hope I told you enough that I love you! I Hope you know how much your friendship has meant to me. And I hope I can try to live by your example until we meet up again.
Heaven doesn't seem so scary anymore now that you are there.

I am not sure that I can find the words to say how much I will miss my dear friend and running partner. Cheri left a positive impact to my life and the world. She has made me a better person, better friend and a better sister, by her example. To Cheri's parents; thank you so much for bringing her into this life. I thought we would be old women together,
running in the park... Heaven doesn't seem so scary anymore, now that I know you are there.
Cheri- I will miss you forever! I love you. I hope I told you that enough! As you would say, we need to "develop more".

Cheri lived a few doors down from us on Westminster. We will miss her very, very much. I always loved seeing her go jogging by with her dog(s)or driving by in her cute car. Cheri was loving, kind and generous. We are all so shocked and will hold her memory dear in our hearts.

Cheri, Pam and I were the best of friends back in Jr High and High School ... time and distance have diminished our bond, but I have great memories of those days and of our friendship. I am grieving for the girl that I laughed with, kept secrets with, ogled boys with and had great times with. I didn't know the adult Cheri nearly as well as I would have liked to .. but it's been really wonderful to read all of the comments made by those who knew her best. I met Cheri through the Homeward Bound Humane Society. We became instant friends. Animals have lost a dear, devoted friend. I will miss Cheri's quick and twisted wit and her tenacity to do right for animals. She will always be a saint to me.

I had the pleasure of training Cheri for many years, everyone at the gym will greatly miss her. We had lots of fun times together, even when I made her do things she didn't like, which she made it clear to me over and over she did not want to do it! What to say about Cheri...well, anyone who attended our trainings knew they were in for an infomative and entertaining hour or so. Their comments when asked about topics for the following training were always "anything with Hass presenting". I could always count on Cheri to present the obscure topics (of late with that fancy PowerPoint thingy) and "volunteer" one of the other partners for the more mundane ones.
Cheri was a good friend of mine and our association. Our lunch "escapades" were something I always looked forward to. Usually starting out with no destination in mind, once we did decide on a venue my "chariot" (which usually meant the dog mobile but every now and then she suprised me with the TT or the Boxster) would never take the same route to get to it. God forbid it was someplace new to us and they didn't have any "real" food, parking, or even open during lunch hours. They were on "the list" to never see our business again. We spent a little time talking about business, and a lot of time talking about life and family. I will miss our time together. My thoughts are with her family and other friends. I know what you are going through.

I was privileged to have worked with Cheri and became friends quickly and it was such a treat to watch her quickly become a novice to skilled prosecutor . No matter how hard I try, I still cannot process what has happened. Although we had much in common, in many ways, Cheri & I were unlikely friends. Yet, from the moment we met, we clicked and we have been nearly inseparable for the last several years. I credit Cheri for introducing me to many things she loved, such as hiking and running, which have become things which I love. I am a better person for having known her although I still can't imagine life without her. Her loss has left a void that can't be filled. I I wish strength and comfort to her friends and family.

I had the pleasure of training Cheri, Nan, and Nadine for many months! I loved seeing their love for each other, hearing about their weekend excursions, and just laughing with them at stories they told and sharing life together. I still can't fathom it all as I see Cheri vividly in my mind- working out hard, cracking jokes, and having fun! The days haven't been easy. The only think that helps ease my mind is that she was very happy, always happy and very much loved from everyone. When she would have her situations I knew a headlock from her was in the future to make her feel better! Your only given so much time with so little time. Most of us spend eight, give or take hours, with coworkers. They become family to us. Losing one of them is just like losing your family member or friends. Cheri was a family member to myself and all of us at FHKA. I will always cherish the memories I got to spend with Cheri. Of course they were never dull. She always knew how to brighten a day for you with her sarcastic or beautiful personality (what I LOVED about her). She truly cared about everyone. It's going to be hard facing the days ahead. Not hearing her voice when she walks in and says hello pumpkin how's the pumpkin, hearing her laugh in her office on the phone, or even hearing her lovely sarcastic remarks from a distance. They are always my favorite!! We loved teasing each other!!! And picking on each other and arguing about who was stronger and or taller! She truly made it a joy to work with her and I am very thankful that I got to meet her and her beautiful and funny personality. Many Prayers to her family, Justin, friends and everyone who was fortunate to know her. Please know we are all here for you. I will miss you deeply Cheri. Rest in peace.

I can't say it any better than I did on Facebook. Cheri was my confidante, my courage, the sister I never had, and my friend. I am the person I am today because of her. The only comfort is she died doing what she loved and was surrounded by people who loved her. She was a force to be reckoned with, and my life will not be the same without her.
