Cooper Clement D. Cooper, age 36, went home to be with the Lord on July 17, 2015. Predeceased by paternal grandparents, maternal grandfather, and uncles. Survived by loving family, mother, Mattie Cooper-Cunningham; father, Clement (Sharon) Cunningham; children, Ashley Cooper-Jones and Clement Cooper, Jr.; siblings, Kenneth Cooper, Bonita, Kiara, and Beyonce Cunningham; grandmother, Bonnie Jean Cooper; special aunt, Lynneaster "Linda" Arnold; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Home-going Celebration 12:30 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2015 at Refuge Baptist Church, 400 N. 20th St. Family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until time of service. Dear Cooper Family: We, the families of The Compassionate Friends, send you our heartfelt condolences. The Compassionate Friends is an international grief support group for parents, grandparents and siblings who have suffered the heartbreaking loss of a child. Our only mission is to provide comfort, hope and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or daughter, brother or sister, or grandchild, and to help others better assist the grieving family. We meet monthly in Columbus from 7-9 PM on the second Tuesday of each month at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1479 Morse Rd, Columbus, OH 43229. If and when you are ready to do so, please join us. We Need Not Walk Alone. We are The Compassionate Friends.
