Connie was one of the kindest, most loving people I've had the pleasure to know. She was always there for her friends. Last year, my mother lost her own battle with cancer. Throughout mom's very unpleasant chemotherapy treatments and gradual decline, Connie was always available and happy to listen patiently to my concerns and offer gentle and compassionate words of understanding. Connie was a woman of profound faith and she lived that faith every moment of every day. I will always miss her beautiful smile and the warm, good-natured heart it revealed. My own life was deeply enhanced because I knew Connie and learned so much about life from her.
