I knew Connie as "the boss's wife" when I had my first job as Mike's secretary at The Ohio Company, way back in 1969 when I was fresh out of CSG. Connie was always so sweet & polite, and little did I know that their 10-year old daughter, Laura, would later become one of my best friends. As the minister said, you can judge a person by how they treat animals, and Connie was so good to Poor Pitiful Pete, a rescue of Laura's, who was with her 'til the end. So sad to think the other half of Mike is now gone as well.
