Constance M. "Connie" Sager

Sager Constance M. "Connie" Sager, age 85 of Johnstown, passed away peacefully under the care of Mount Carmel Hospice on Saturday morning, February 21, 2015. She was born on October 3, 1929 in Columbus to the late Dale and Leona (Ross) Vance. She was a homemaker and had lived in the area since 1963. She was a member of the Harlem Road United Methodist Church for 50+ years and the Red Hat Society. Connie enjoyed gardening, growing flowers and camping. Connie was a great mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family and treasured her time spent with them. She enjoyed getting the family together and was a great cook. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Eldon Sager; sons, Glenn Sager of Westerville, Douglas Sager of Centerburg; daughter, Kathryn (William Mumaw) Sager of Centerburg; grandchildren, Sarah (David) Mars, Connie (John) Charter; grandson-in-law, Ronald Deavers; ten great grandchildren; two brother and two sisters. Preceded in death by son Richard Sager, granddaughter Daisy Deavers, daughter-in-law Melody Sager. Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the DeVORE-SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, SR 3 at 61, Sunbury where services will be held Thursday 11 a.m. with Pastor Bud Leskovac officiating.
