I can remember our childhood and all the tricks that was played on me by both of my brothers, Danny and Sam. It was all done in fun and love. I miss both of them very much as well as our Mother, who was the best in my book. Even though we didn't have much of the material world, we were taught the most valuable lesson of this life, and that was to put our trust in God for an eternal life. I wouldn't trade it for anything. Mom passed away just 3 weeks before Danny, and I have no doubt that they are with Sam in the heavenly home that is promised to us by God, our father. I look forward to the day that we can all be together.

This message is for anyone viewing Daddy's guest book.
I've had many people contact me via e-mail, phone, cards, etc., with comments or stories of how Daddy's life here touched them in so many positive ways. I want to thank everyone for that, but also let them know how else to honor him and his memory. Today is Memorial Day. A day we honor our fallen soldiers. My daddy was a soldier. He lived most of his life fighting in our Lord's army. His greatest joy was to see someone come to know Jesus as their personal savior, and he fought (prayed) long and hard for his family and friends to develope a relationship with Jesus.
I used to watch or hear him praying and reading his bible, and knew that he was a man who heard from the Lord. He waited and listened for God to speak, and followed His direction when He did. He would want all of us to do the same. Read our bibles, meditate on His word, pray for our families and each other, and look forward to the day when we meet in heaven. Daddy sacrificed a lot for his family and his ministry, fought the good fight, and now has his reward. I miss him more than any can imagine, but so happy that he's finally where he worked to be for so long.
Honor my daddy today by spending time with God.
God Bless You All,
Debby

Dear Ethel,
I am so sorry about Danny, I know the loss you have endured is so very difficult. Just take comfort that he is in heaven with Jesus and one day you will see him again. I think about the time Danny traded Dad the red car for a bottle of pop. we had such fun riding in that car. You all were such great friends and neighbors.
God be with you all through this very difficult time.
love ya, Claudia

Dan,
There is such a void in our lives now. You were always there when I needed encouragement. I miss you and Mom so very much.

My sweet brother,
I love you and miss you so much. The whole family is lost without you and mom. There is such a void.
Dad is so bewildered. I hate seeing him so sad, and your loving wife is still hearing you call her name. She surely was a pearl, and I know, you loved her as Christ loved the church. Put in a good word for us up there, and know, that we will all meet again in our heavenly home.
Dearly missed,
Your Sister, Delores

Just losing Mom, and three short weeks later, losing my brother, is very difficult, but God is still in control. I can remember, my brother Dan, never turning anyone away. His home was always open to his children's friends and families. He is loved and will be missed, but knowing he is in heaven with mom, and brother Sam, gives me the hope that one day we'll be together again. That's the hope we have in Christ Jesus.
