David Foust Obituary

FOUST David Charles Foust, a long time Worthington resident, died Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born August 8, 1923 in Akron, Oh. to the late Todd L. and Bernice (Tasker) Foust. He was also preceded in death by his sister Doris Murray. Mr. Foust was retired from Insurance Services of Ohio (ISO) where he worked as a Fire Protection Engineer for 37 years. He was a World War II U.S. Army Veteran serving on Leyte in the South Pacific Theater. He attended the University of Akron where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He was also a member of the Worthington United Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder and he was a 32nd Degree Mason. He was also an active Boy Scout Leader. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary Helen Foust; children, David G. Foust of Worthington, Kenneth W. (Charlynn) Foust of Hendersonville, Tenn. and Douglas C. (Nancy) Foust of Worthington; grandchildren, Corinne L. Foust, David Benjamin (Sarah) Foust, Collin D. Foust and Kathryn L. Foust; several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2005 at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St., Worthington with Dr. Philip Hazelton officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-5 p.m. Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to HomeReach Hospice at Riverside, 3535 Olentangy River Rd., Columbus, Oh. 43214.
