David Michael "Mike" Mitchell, age 73, of Plain City, Ohio, passed away at home Friday, June 8, 2018. He was born August 30, 1944 in Gallipolis, Ohio. He was retired from the Eddie Bauer warehouse in Obetz, Ohio. Mike loved his Cincinnati Bengals, researching and sharing his family genealogy, and discussing and sharing his vast music and video collections. Preceded in death by parents David and Emily Mitchell and sister-in-law Dianna Mitchell. Survived by brother, Dana Mitchell; niece, Tera (Todd) Hawes; nephews, Travis (Stephanie) Mitchell and Troy Mitchell; and several great and great-great nieces and nephews. Mike was my best man 30 years ago. We spent many times watching movies and eating pizza. We went to church together for many years. He was a good man. I'll miss my friend.
