Deanna Ray Obituary

RAY Deanna (Fritz) Ray, 71, of Grove City, OH, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2008. Dee graduated from South High School in 1956 and retired from Ohio Bell after 35 years. Deanna was a 50 year member of Grove City Chapter #502 OES. Preceded in death by her first husband Carl S. Dunn, father William Fritz, mother Frances (Hafey) Fritz. She will be dearly missed by her husband, Stanley (Sam) Ray; daughter, Carla (Gary) Cottrell; grandson, Brian Cottrell; David (Linda) Ray and grandchildren, Jennifer, Emily, Gabe, Paul and Matt; Susan (Phillip) Campbell and grandchildren, Kriss and Mary; sister, Linda (Ron) Spencer and God-children, Scott and Jason Spencer; sister-in-laws, Shirley (Jerry) Rawlins, Esther McGinnis, Marian Breckenridge; 9 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; close friends, Rosie Knight, Patty Hannan, Virginia (Hersey) Frye, Karen (Paul) Shea, Cheryl (Steve) Scalf, and dear friend, Reverend John Gray, and many more. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Mount Carmel West Hospital and Hospice for all the special care given to our loved one. Friends may call at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 3393 Broadway, SW Chapel, Grove City, OH, from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, July 10, 2008, with the funeral service on Friday, July 11, 2008, 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Pleasant Cemetery. Rev. John Gray officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Kidney Foundation. Mt.
