Jeri and Family,
Our deepest sympathies to all of you on the loss of a beautiful young daughter, sister, mom, niece, and cousin. She always seemed so close to and supportive of her family, as I understand you all were for her.
May God bless all of you in your loss, and may Debbie rest in the peace that she so well deserves.
Much sympathy, love and prayers to all of you.

Jeri, Bob, Joe, Leo and Dante,
This is one of the times when you wish you had all the right words to make everything okay, to make the heartache go away and bring back the joy that once was. This is one of those times that I have no magic words to do that, no matter how much I wish I did. I know that with Debbie gone, there are no right words, there's just saddness and emptiness where there used to be happiness and joy. I know that as time goes by things may get better, but I know that there will always be an empty place in your heart that she used to fill. Debbie loved you all so very much! Your love kept her here as long as it did, and as you said, if it was up to love, she would live an eternity. Debbie was so proud of her family and had so much love for each one of you. I know it was hard for her to let go especially to say goodbye to the loves of her life; Leo and Dante. Deb will be with us all forever. When the sky is clear and the sun shines a bit brighter, we'll know that it's Deb smiling down on us all. We'll remember her happiness with each rainbow and our tears with each rain. We'll never forget the love she had in her heart and we'll never lose the love we have for her. My love to you all!
Until we meet again my dear friend Debbie, I'll hold you in my heart!

Aunt Jerri, Uncle Bob and Joe,
All of our hearts are broken with yours. Debbie had so much courage and it is hard to believe she is gone. Thanks for providing me with countless opportunities to be with her in her last months. We spent evenings laughing until we cried about all the funny things that happened in our families during our childhood years.
One night in particular, we went through all the different holidays, vacations and the many dogs our families had over the years. Debbie expressed many times during the last few months how thankful she was for the wonderful rich childhood you gave her. Because of those memories you and my parents built for us, we were able to just be silly and reminisce for hours at a time in the face of that hideous disease that was taking Debbie from all of us.
Jerri and Bob, Debbie lived much longer than any doctor gave her hope for and that is ENTIRELY because of how you loved her and took care of her. It was truly amazing to witness such incredible attentiveness and care of someone so sick.
The one thing I have gone to bed thinking about the last few nights is how glorious it must have been for Deb when she opened her eyes and there stood Uncle Leo to hold his baby girl after all these years. Deb will be missed by her cousins who were inspired by her faith and courage in the the biggest battle of her life. I love you all.
