I already miss you Big Bro. I can't seem to come to terms with myself that you are no longer here with us. But I have come to the terms that this is GOD's will and GOD doesn't make mistakes. I have also came to realize that you are no longer suffering. To me this is a blessing and I believe that you, DeWayne are blessed. "I'm missing you already Big Bro. I am thankful that you are not in pain anymore and that you are noe at peace. It is only my selfishness that wishes you had more time here. But I know better. It seems that GOD has a better plan."
Love Always,
Honey

To The Family Of My Friend DGray,
May God Ease Your Pain
When God created memories
He had the sweetest reason--
To Comfort us and bring us peace throughout each changing season...
So, in our times of sorrow
We may look beyond the pain
And begin to trace the beauty of the rainbow through the rain.

My heart and prayers go out to the entire Gray family. I am another person whom met Dewayne while bowling many years ago, he is one of the few people I can honestly say who would come up to me and speak everytime he saw me and always treated me the same. I think that is what stuck out the most because those are rare qualities in people these days. Dewayne was also an excellent bowler and person whom I know I will miss dearly but we all know God had a purpose for taking him at him when he did and whatever pain he was suffering he will no longer have to endure. May God Bless all of you and again I am sorry for your loss of a loved one.
God Bless Always,
Jeremy Sally

Dewayne, I am already missing you very much. I look back on the times we have shared together
laughing, joking around and just plain kickin' it. Remember the auction? It was my first time, and that Fat dude bent over in front of you and his pants fell down? That was a trip!!We laughed so hard!! I can't believe you are gone. I pray that you knew how much you are loved and admired by everyone that knows you! I say that in the present tense because everytime we think about you we will still be loving you and admiring you, because your spirit will live on for each of us that knows you. I miss you so very much my dear friend. Love always, Nesha

"O Lord , thou has brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive...In his favour is life:weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."-Psalms 30:3-5.
D-Gray or "Cuz" as we called him was a funny, cool, and clever person who has left an emptiness in all of us and unavenged "spade game" for some of us. To the mother, father, wife and children, our family(the Edwards)keeps you uplifted in prayer so that God will send you comfort and understanding in this most difficult time.

I cannot believe my little cousin has left us. It has been years since I last saw Dewayne. I think we were around 14yrs old playing at Uncle Buster and Aunt Nita's house. And I am now 36 years old. My heart is truly full with pain. But only God knows what is best. To Kim, Cookie and Uncle Wayne we will get through the pain with the trust of God. All that's required is that you really believe and have no doubt. And He will heal all wounds.

13 years ago, I met D-Gray at Piketon Lanes. He wanted to bowl on a team. We recruited him. He was so nervous because he was bowling 140s...150s-thought were going to kick him off the team. I reassured him that was not the case. A couple of weeks went by - still he was nervous. I pulled him to the side & I said "DeWayne, relax. We know you're doing your best. You're putting too much pressure on yourself. Just relax." After that, D-Gray was tearing them up with 230s...240s...250s. I was so proud of him. To the Gray family, my sincere condolences. May the Lord give you the strength you need to get through this difficult time and I pray the pain you're feeling now, will soon be replaced with warm memories.
