Don Kolodgy, age 89, of Westerville, OH, suddenly Saturday, November 18, 2017. Retired school teacher from Big Walnut Local School System. Member of Church of the Messiah United Methodist. Don was a Boy Scout Leader, Sunday school teacher and volunteer for Special Olympics. Survived by his wife of 67 years, Kathleen; children, Sharon (Ed) Dempsey, Linda Miller and Richard Kolodgy; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Dempsey, Leslie (Kenny) Maxie and David (April) Shicks; great-grandchildren, Addison and Emilie Dempsey, Lily and Rosie Maxie, Anna and Sarah Shicks. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Friday 2-4 p.m., where service will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Interment Blendon Central Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Special Olympics, 2879 Johnstown Road, Columbus, OH 43219.
