Earl Foresman Obituary

FORESMAN Earl Edward Foresman, age 85, passed away peacefully after an extended illness, Thursday, April 14, 2005. Lifelong resident of Franklin County, Brown and Prarie Townships. Retired Railroad fireman and engineer for NYC/Penn. Central and Conrail lines. Past member of VFW and American Legion, Don Gentile Post #0532. Veteran of WW II as 1st Sgt. with 13th Combat Eng. Battalion attached to the 184th Infantry, serving in Okinawa, Japan and Seoul, S. Korea. Survived by daughters, Mary Foresman and Liz (Bill) Hunt; step-son, Richard Mendenhall. Preceded in death by parents Lena (Weber) and Arthur Foresman, as well as wives A. Louise (Salzgaber) and Betty (Jackson). Special thanks to Dr. Tarek Chidiac and the caring staff of Arbors West. Friends may call 1-3 p.m. Sunday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, where funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday. Pastor Larry Baker officiating. Interment Alton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the charity of your choice.
