Edith Noreda "Honey" Harper, age 82, of Columbus, Ohio. Sunrise November 11, 1938, Sunset May 19, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy Barksdale and Vera (Terry) Younger; son Jeffery Harper; daughter Teia Henderson; sister Diane Dulaney and brother Ronald Cudgel. She leaves to cherish her memories; brothers, Allen Barksdale and Eric Younger; children, James Harper, Angela (Harper) Welch, Tanya (J.C.) Willis, Aaron Shawn (Philana) Harper and Antonio Terry Harper; daughter-in-law, Kathy Harper and son-in-law, Anthony Henderson; 17 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call 6-8 pm Friday, June 4, 2021 at SCHOEDINGER EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5360 East Livingston Avenue, Columbus, OH 43232. Celebration of Life Service will be held 9:00 am Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Oasis of Love Community Church, 3171 Schwartz Road, Columbus, OH 43232, where family will receive after 8:30 am. Saturday. Interment to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estates, Reynoldsburg. Please visit www.schoedinger.com to share a memory or send condolences to Honey's family.
