Edna Juanita "Pat" Karshner

KARSHNER Edna Juanita "Pat" Karshner, age 89, died early Saturday morning at the home of her daughter and son-in-law in the presence of both her daughters and family. She had waged a short but fierce battle with cancer. Born February 25, 1919, in Logan, Oh., to the late Mable and Homer Wolfe. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Joseph F. Karshner. She is survived by 2 daughters, Judith (Briggs) Crites of Grandview and Jennifer (Lee) Pfahler of Hilliard. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, Jared (Elizabeth) Crites of Columbus, Oh., Stacey (James) Van Hoose of Delaware, Oh., Stefan (Mona) Crites of Zahara de la Sierra, Spain, Adrienne Crites of Forest Hills, Calif., Drew Crites of Bamenda, Cameroon, Africa, Courtney (Ashley) Crites and Zackary Crites, all of Columbus, Oh., Tasha (Levi) Riemenschneider of Hilliard and Alisha (Jason) Rucker of Dublin, Oh., Shirley (Steve) McNight and family of Savannah, Ga. Her great-grandchildren are Jacob and Anna Crites, Taylor and Grant Van Hoose, and Casim and Mahalia Arain-Crites. Pat also leaves behind many, many dear friends. To her family and to all who knew her she leaves her love of life and laughter, love of music and all things beautiful but especially she will be remembered for her love of her God, Jehovah. The family would like to thank the caring staff of HomeReach Hospice who have been such a help. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 15 at 3 p.m. at the Lancaster West Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 1602 Cedar Hill Road, Lancaster, Oh.
